SonicVision Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SonicVision ("SonicVision", "we", "us" or "our"), a service that enables users to upload audio and generate music videos and other audiovisual content using that audio.
By creating an account, accessing or using SonicVision, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. The Service
SonicVision provides tools that allow users to upload audio, analyse audio and associated lyrics or metadata, generate images and video, and create audiovisual content based on user-provided material.
We may modify, update, suspend or discontinue features of the Service from time to time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use SonicVision. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use SonicVision with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Audio and Other Content You Upload
You may upload audio files and other material ("User Content") to SonicVision. You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights, licences and permissions necessary to upload, process and use your User Content through SonicVision.
You must not upload or process material where doing so would infringe copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity or other rights of another person.
Purchasing, downloading or otherwise obtaining a copy of a music recording does not necessarily give you permission to upload that recording to a third-party service or to use it to create derivative or audiovisual works.
You are responsible for determining whether you have the necessary rights or permissions before uploading material to SonicVision. You must not use SonicVision to circumvent, remove or defeat technological protection measures or other restrictions applied to copyrighted material.
5. Licence to SonicVision
You retain ownership of the User Content that you upload to SonicVision.
By uploading User Content, you grant SonicVision a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, process, analyse and technically modify that User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service, process your request, generate your requested output, maintain the security and operation of the Service, and perform temporary technical processing necessary to provide the Service.
This licence ends when the relevant User Content is deleted, except to the extent that retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or enforcement of these Terms. We do not acquire ownership of your music or other User Content by virtue of you using SonicVision.
6. Temporary Storage and Deletion of Audio
SonicVision is designed to minimise the retention of original uploaded audio. Uploaded audio may be stored temporarily while it is being processed and while your requested video is being generated.
Unless we need to retain the audio for security, legal, technical or dispute-resolution purposes, we intend to automatically delete the original uploaded audio after processing has completed, normally within 24 hours. Temporary copies may exist in backups, caches or technical systems for a limited period before being automatically overwritten or deleted.
Further information about retention and deletion is provided in our Privacy Policy.
7. Generated Content
SonicVision may generate images, video, animations, text, subtitles and other material based on your User Content and instructions ("Generated Content"). Subject to rights belonging to third parties, you may use and download Generated Content produced for you through the Service, subject to these Terms.
AI-generated content may not be unique; similar or identical content may be generated for other users; we do not guarantee Generated Content is free from third-party intellectual property rights; you are responsible for ensuring your intended use is lawful; and Generated Content may contain inaccuracies or unexpected results.
Where Generated Content incorporates or is derived from third-party material, your rights remain subject to the rights of the relevant rights holders.
8. Copyright and Intellectual Property
SonicVision respects intellectual property rights. You must not use the Service to create, reproduce, distribute or exploit material in a manner that infringes another person's rights.
If you believe material available through SonicVision infringes your rights, contact [email protected]. We may remove, disable access to, or investigate material that we reasonably believe may infringe applicable law or these Terms.
9. Prohibited Uses
You must not use SonicVision to upload material without necessary rights; infringe intellectual property rights; upload malicious software; gain unauthorised access; circumvent usage or credit limits; interfere with operation or security; abuse or overload the Service with automated systems; use the Service unlawfully; impersonate another person or entity; or violate applicable law.
10. Third-Party Services and AI Providers
SonicVision may use third-party technology providers for cloud infrastructure, payment processing, audio analysis, transcription, image generation and video generation. Where necessary to provide the Service, relevant User Content or derived information may be transmitted securely to those providers. Our Privacy Policy provides additional information.
11. Payments and Credits
Where SonicVision offers paid credits, subscriptions or other paid features, the applicable price and terms will be presented before purchase. Credits may be subject to expiry, usage restrictions or other conditions stated at purchase. Unless required by law, credits are not redeemable for cash.
We may change prices or credit packages from time to time. Changes will not affect completed purchases.
12. Refunds
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights. Where a paid service has not been delivered or has materially failed to operate as described, contact [email protected]. We will consider refund requests in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances.
13. Service Limitations
AI and automated media generation can produce unexpected, inaccurate or unsuitable results. We do not guarantee that Generated Content will meet expectations, be commercially suitable, be unique, or be free from errors or third-party rights. We do not guarantee accurate audio analysis or transcription or continuous availability.
14. Your Responsibility for Outputs
You are responsible for reviewing Generated Content before publishing, distributing or commercially exploiting it and for obtaining any additional permissions, licences or clearances required for your intended use.
15. Our Intellectual Property
The SonicVision name, brand, website, software, interface, technology and underlying systems are owned by or licensed to SonicVision and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute or commercially exploit the Service or its underlying technology.
16. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using SonicVision, you acknowledge that we process personal data as described in that Privacy Policy.
17. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Service and information processed through it. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and transmission over the internet involves inherent risks.
18. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using SonicVision at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you breached these Terms, are using the Service unlawfully, create a security or operational risk, or suspension is necessary to comply with law. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice before terminating an account, except where immediate action is necessary.
19. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SonicVision is provided on an "as available" basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SonicVision will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.
21. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate SonicVision for reasonable losses, claims and costs arising from your material breach of these Terms or unlawful use of User Content, including claims that User Content infringes a third party's rights. This does not apply to the extent the claim results from SonicVision's own unlawful conduct or negligence.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Subject to mandatory consumer protection rights, the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
